NordiCare® support helps patients stay on course

NordiCare® is a comprehensive support program that helps with reimbursement, case management, patient assistance, and coordination of services between patients, prescribers of Norditropin® [somatropin (rDNA origin) injection], and pharmacies. The NordiCare® program is designed to save you time and support your patients throughout the course of treatment.

NordiCare® meets your needs quickly and effectively

NordiCare® services are provided to patients and prescribers as soon as a patient is prescribed Norditropin®, and throughout the course of therapy. All patients enrolled in NordiCare® are assigned a dedicated NordiCare® Case Manager, who continually updates everyone involved in treatment decisions - health care professionals, patients, parents, and caregivers - and follows up at regular intervals to assess the status of prior authorization requirements and ensure that all necessary information has been provided to the payor. The NordiCare® Case Manager also coordinates access to therapy through the NordiCare® Patient Access Program (PAP) for patients who do not have insurance.

Valuable resources and support for patients and health care professionals, when they need it most

When a prior authorization is denied, the NordiCare® Case Manager will contact the health care professional and patient to discuss an appeal. NordiCare® works with the health care professional to gather all required documentation to support an appeal.

For lengthy appeals, the NordiCare® Case Specialist works with the patient to determine potential eligibility for alternative reimbursement and potential participation in the NordiCare® Patient Access Program (PAP).
